A Commitment to Community

Florina Ruvio has deep roots in the community, and has long been dedicated to serving it. Among her many commitments, she has been active with the 2CKids Succeed Initiative, the Caldwell Health Coalition, and volunteers with Breaking Chains Academy of Development, a non-profit organization that helps teens complete their GED/HSE. A single mother for a several years, she worked at the local Albertsons before moving up in the grocery industry to a corporate marketing position. During her time there, Florina began the company’s philanthropic efforts, focusing on education and food insecurity. Partnering with nonprofit organizations like the Idaho Foodbank and Boise Public Schools Foundation, she discovered her passion for helping others. With her hard work ethic and experience working with people from various backgrounds, Florina has the skills required to successfully fulfill the duties of a city council position and represent every Caldwell resident.
